All the green

StPats 1024x512 All the greenHappy St. Patrick’s Day! Let’s talk about the color green. Right now for me, green is:

The color of the cute shamrock ProCompression socks I won from Nicole at Work in Sweats Mama (check out her lucky roundup today).

The color of the daffodil shoots that started appearing in my yard a couple weeks back.

The color of kale, which I’m writing about over here at PopSugar.

The color of envy, which I’m feeling right now for people who live in Southern California and other places where the snow never falls.

The color of avocado, my favorite green food.

The color of turf, to which my son is starting to return after his achilles injury earlier this year.

My daughter’s (current) favorite color.

May the luck of the Irish be with you all day!

Love those trails, too! I used to mtn. bike them when I lived there in the 90s. And sadly, ours are covered in snow now, too. UGH!

I love green, and although you envy us SoCal people, I miss the green of Northern VA. in the spring time! Our color here is 365 brown, oh and an earthquake tis morning–fun stuff!

My son just spent the past 5 days enjoying the warmth of southern CA – I’m jealous, too! So glad that your son is starting to return to sports!!
Avocados are awesome – too bad that they are expensive where I live (another reason to be in southern CA!!).

Oh your green with envy for us SoCal-ers might be overstated. It was in 85-90 the last two weekends – BRUTAL heat for runners and kiddo athletes alike. Nothing beats finishing a long run that’s 80+ degrees then sitting in the 90 degree temps for a few hours watching soccer straight away after (Yes I foolishly ran there).
