Return to FHBC?

If you’ve been following me since last last year (and I hope you have!) you might recall that I went to Boulder in June to attend the Fitness & Health Bloggers Conference. And it was  a blast.

At last year's conference

I got to meet SUAR, Jason, Jill, and Erin, all of whom I had been reading for some time. I also got to network with new bloggers, get an understanding of how minuscule my blogging presence is compared to some of the industry rock stars (!), and learn more than I could have imagined about blogging. It left me hungry for more.

Luckily, the nice FHBC people have partnered with FitFluential to offer 40 scholarships to attend. Let’s see, a chance to meet more bloggers, get more incredibly useful information, and play in Colorado? Yes, please.

One of the cool things about this conference is that it is sponsored by ReFuel With Chocolate Milk. They spoke last year about how chocolate milk is the perfect combination of protein and carbs to refuel your muscles after a tough workout. I was already on board with this, chugging chocolate milk after every long run, but to have their data backing it up made me that much happier with my choice. I’ve used chocolate milk after every long run this training cycle for Boston, and it has worked its magic for me.

So June 22 may see me boarding a plane for Denver again and doing a take two on the FHBC–I can only hope!

Anyone else planning/hoping to go?
