Lucy Hatha leggings
Today was finally the day when I caved and pulled on some full-length tights for my run. The start-time temp was about 28, but the wind was fierce and thus made it feel like the low 20s.
Lucky for me, I had a new pair of Lucy Hatha leggings to try out. How did they hold up? I’d say pretty well.
Time for some tights!
My thoughts on them: I love the material–it felt really smooth and soft and moved with me as I ran. I also loved the fact that they are seamless, which I think adds to the comfort. As far as the weight–just about right for these conditions, although I think down into the teens they might be a bit light. The fit was good, although the length was a bit long for my short 5′ 4” frame.
One thing I really liked about these tights was the wide waistband; it was comfy and hit about mid-rise. While there was no drawstring, the tights didn’t slide down as I ran, which tights often do (anyone else have this issue?).
What I didn’t like about the tights? If you read my post yesterday, you won’t be surprised to hear me say a complete lack of pockets. Not even a key pocket. I made sure I wore a top with one to compensate, but again, give me pockets in everything, please!
The waistband is my favorite feature
Still, I’m sure I’ll turn to these tights over and over this winter thanks to their comfort level. I could see using them for yoga as well.

i lurrrrrrrve Lucy stuff! I have two pairs of their capris but no full length tights yet. A pair of the capris I have does have a pocket in the back – just fyi!

I just bought a pair of Lucy shorts (on the clearance rack) but I am always in love with their ‘fashion’ jackets. I couldn’t make up a good reason to buy a second one this year but I’m ever hopeful.

I love love love that their pants come in different lengths. I know that’s not a certain product that I love (if I listed that, the comment would be too long). But I have a really hard time finding pants that fit my 33″ inseam! I’m all legs baby…

The Wave Skirt Capri looks cute! Part skirt, part compression capri legging! I’ve never run in a skirt, but this looks like a fun balance of skirt and legging-which I’m more use to running in.
