The goods from Lindsay!
It’s the second year in a row that the lovely Jill has coordinated about a billion bloggers in a gift exchange, which is no easy task. And speaking for myself, for the second year in a row, I’ve had a fabulous secret santa who just nailed the perfect set of gifts!
Yesterday, I received a a box full of goodies from Lindsay of Chasing the Kenyans. What did it contain? A Starbucks card, a bag of Reese’s peanut butter cups, a fantastic travel mug, and some coffee to go in it. And, the best of all–this super personalized little drawing! That one really touched me .
Look closely at it and you can see how she was thoughtful enough to include so many aspects of my life: The MissZippy letters represent the Maryland flag;
Lindsay captured it all with this.
there’s a little Ohio state (where I grew up) in there; a coach’s whistle; some cute little veggies; a depiction of me driving my kids around in the mini-van, and a little computer with the WordPress symbol. How cool is that? Knocks my socks off cool–I am always impressed when people are this talented/creative.
So a big thanks to Lindsay for the gifts, and another thanks to Jill for all her hard work–it makes us all smile!
