Ohio, you’ve been cruel to me. But a seven-miler helped ease the pain, even if it was in YakTrax.

Oh please, please send all that snow our way. Thank you.
brrrrr! Glad you had a good run otherwise!
I am even scared to run where wet leaves are! Kudos to you for running with snow! Brrrrrrrrrr….. said the girl who lives near the beach!

Capris and no mittens? You’re intense! I’m freezing just looking at those pictures. I’m so glad we don’t have snow yet!

I am amazed you are up to running 7 miles again already so soon after your return to running! Maybe you can share some tips. I wasn’t sure if it’s X-Training that has helped you out or just you have great endurance in general.
Yeah the west side is rainy here and the east side is snow.

I know I’m in the minority here, but I’m so insanely jealous of your snow!!

Ohio is preparing you for something much bigger!
Darn it I’m a little jealous as we don’t have a single flake of snow on the ground. So deprived….but winter is young…
Teamarcia recently posted..Running the Numbers: Key West
I was a little worried after “the most snow ever” prediction for Chicago, but like Marcia said…winter is young. I’m sure we’ll get a chance to run in the snow:)

I wish it would snow some here! How do you like the Yak Tracks? I have been thinking about getting a pair for when we finally get some snow
Shannon @ Mon Amour recently posted..Clipless Pedals
Check those shoes out!! I’ve heard of the YakTrax but had never seen a pair before. Might have to grab me some for winter

Coy recently posted..Never a dull moment..
Ah, so you’re the reason we got snow! Great run. Cheers!

I’m in central Ohio and we haven’t gotten any snow yet!

I am going to go out on a limb and say that I hope to never have to say the following:
The last thing I grabbed were my YakTrax

Nice work on the 7 miler! I need to buy myself some of those yaxtrax and hope that I never have to use them:)
I am SO thankful we do not have snow in Columbus!
Happy New Year (and belated Christmas) to you and yours! I hope you are enjoying the holidays.
Do the yaxtrax work? I’ve heard mixed reviews. I’ve thought about picking up a pair, but never have. I’m sure I’ll need them before long here in KC.
I don’t have a pair of yak’s…. but after yesterday… I honestly should invest !
Hope it treated you well and no slipping or sliding! Still stoked you are back at it w/ 7 freaking miles!

I need to pick your brain about YakTrax. I really want to get some ASAP, but I’m nervous they’re going to make my foot strike weird, or feel “off” when I run. Good luck w/ that snow sister!

Yaks! Oh….We have our first snow last night and I’m dreading my speedwork tonight.
Nice mileage on the trax. Believe me, I know how that feels.

Wow! You are one tough mama! You wouldn’t find me out there in that snow. Well, maybe if I had some of those super cool Yak Trax.

No gloves?? Brr! It was so cold this morning I went to the treadmill. It is super windy today and I can handle the cold just not the wind. I have never run in Yak traks – they might be useful if we ever get any snow here!
J recently posted..Merry Christmas!
Good for you! We have Yak Tracks but have never had to use them since it doesn’t snow much here. I never thought of using them to run (in the snow). I love that you look so happy in the photo

I was happily surprised to arrive home to find no snow. I’m sure that won’t last for long, though, and my yak trax will see action again soon.

Where there’s a will there’s a way. You northerned-climed people never cease to amaze me about the weather you’ll run in. I know I complain about the heat and humidity but I can’t really imagine running in weather where icicles build up on you.

I wear gloves here in California!!

I’d love some snow, except of course for the fact that people in VA suck at driving in anything resembling snow. And we have no sidewalks LOL.
