A couple of weeks ago, I asked you to send in your questions for Dr. Stephen Gangemi, aka the sock doc, who is the applied kinesiologist got me over the hump with my ITB issues. I received lots of questions, some on my blog and some via email. Dr. Gangemi has looked the questions over and answered several of them. Where there were commonalities (stress fractures, for instance), he grouped the responses together. So–you asked, he answered:
Thanks to the sock doc for taking the time to answer these questions. Like I said, we may answer more in a future post, so don’t fret if yours wasn’t included this time through. I hope everyone learned a bit from his answers–I know I did!

I love how you reached out and did this. So informative, thank you!
Great information, and great idea to have a post like this. Thanks!
I just leaned a bunch of stuff about bones that I never knew. Thanks!
this was great! Thanks!
All good info, thankfully I don't need any of it right now.
Love it. Questions are good and the answers are very clear.
Great post! Very informative.
Excellent info, thanks Amanda!
loved the information he gave on bone health!! i've been hearing a lot of things lately about the vitamins our bodies need that we may not be getting. i also loved how he challenged the "traditional medical model" of treatment, and was able to support his views. i think our health system and the way we look at our health, in general, needs a real overhaul. you've got yourself a good doc there!
This is just so great! I'm glad he's willing to answer questions. The answers are surprising and I'm sure will help so many people. There's so much we don't understand and that most doctors are not willing to investigate. Thanks to both of you!
Nice Q&A.
Thanks for the informational post
awesome! i learned something new today
Very cool stuff, thanks for doing this!
Wow this was fascinating to me. Thanks!
My feet weirdly got bigger recently. My mom used to warn me I wouldn't stop growing until I was close to thirty! So sometimes I skip socks to make my shoes fit better. I really need to stop being so cheap.
interesting post!! Thanks for sharing!
EXCELLENT!!!!
I LOVE THIS. Thanks so much to both of you for doing it. I hope it becomes a recurring segment.
VERY interesting info about manganese.
WOW GREAT INFO!!! I especially love his second answer – that's been my theory for years on doctors who tell you NOT TO RUN AT ALL AFTER 40!!! Please!!!
Thanks for passing this on!! I want to learn from others hoping I don't have to meet up up with soc doc in the future!!
Wow… thanks for the helpful information! I realized that my bone health may not be as good as I think it is! I'm with Pam… I hope the Sock Doc becomes a regular feature.
Thanks, sock doc! That was very interesting!
Amazing. Actually one of these really hit home and I love that he called out her doc on using aging as an excuse.
This was a great post. I can't believe it took me a few days to find it! Working cuts into my blog reading time… Sheesh. Any way, the info on fractures was most helpful!
